Great interest of thousands of Poles. We are proud to announce that on Saturday, May 9, we took part in the 19th Scientific Picnic! The Picnic is organized by Polish Radio and the Copernicus Science Centre and it is the biggest scientific open-air event in Europe.

Excellent organisation and great interest of the Polish authorities make that event famous and recognizable also in other European countries.

The Picnic is organized at the National Stadium in Warsaw and visitors have the opportunity to see nearly a thousand demonstrations of science, history, and art. 2015 has been proclaimed a year of light by UNESCO.

The organizers of the event followed the same footsteps-theme and gave the 19th Scientific Picnic subheading: "light-retrieved from our civilization."
